About me

I value personal growth. Throughout my education, I was always excited to switch between subjects and activities, always striving for personal improvement. For example, my deplorable dancing skills led me to start swing dancing, and my inability to swim eventually developed into a triathlon passion, leading me to represent my university at the Collegiate National Championship.

My passion for exploring math and science topics inspired me to become a teacher, where I could foster an equitable learning environment that encouraged my students to pursue their curiosity in the same subjects that excited me. My tendency to pursue new avenues of learning led me to teach and tutor in a multitude of subjects, including AP classes in math, science, economics, and history. Unfortunately, I found the position restrictive, not allowing me to pursue my own intellectual interests.

Looking for a new career path that offered greater personal development and challenge, I attended Turing School of Software and Design , where I have spent over 1,500 hours developing software engineering and collaborative skills. I plan to utilize my skills as an educator and implement them into my new career path!
