Hi, I'm Johann! I'm a Front-End Engineer based in Vancouver, BC.
Before embarking on my journey in tech, I spent over five years working in both aviation and construction industries. I had the unique opportunity to work with everything from 2-seater airplanes to massive 777s, and to witness the transformation of empty lots into remarkable construction projects. This diverse background has been a crucial part of my story.
My time in aviation and construction instilled in me a profound appreciation for precision and practicality. Whether it was ensuring the safety of passengers on a flight or overseeing the construction of homes, I learned that the smallest details matter in creating successful outcomes.
I am motivated by the journey of progress. Much like a flight from takeoff to landing or witnessing a home come to life from the ground up, I find immense satisfaction in contributing to projects that undergo significant transformations. The concept-to-completion process is where my passion truly lies.
Now, as I transition into a career in the tech world, my mission is to leverage these skills and experiences to create impactful applications that prioritize user satisfaction and deliver outstanding results. I am a lifelong learner, constantly seeking to improve and expand my tech stack, ensuring that the solutions I provide are both innovative and effective.
