Turing School of Software and Design (“Turing”) is committed to protecting your privacy. The following Privacy Policy describes what information we collect from you when you visit this site, and how we use this information. The Information Turing Collects
Turing collects two kinds of information on this site: (1) application information that is voluntarily supplied by applicants to this site who apply to the Program and (2) tracking information that is automatically collected as visitors navigate through this site.
If you choose to apply to Turing you will be required to provide certain application and enrollment information that we need to process your application and, in the event you are accepted to the Program, process your enrollment. This site automatically recognizes and records certain non-personal information, including the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and the operating system; the date and time you access this site; and the Internet address of the web site from which you linked directly to this site. We may use cookies to keep track of your preferences and profile information. Cookies are small files which are stored on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. Cookies are also used to collect general usage and volume statistical information that does not include personal information.
Your data and personal information is used for purposes that you expect it to be used for such as processing your application and setting up your enrollment in the program. This may include providing you personalized content, features to enable you to interact with others, securing your data, and communicating about your application or enrollment process. We collect the following personal information from you:
- Contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number
- Personal Information such as previous schooling, work history, personal statements of interest, background, etc.
- Billing Information such as credit card number, bank account information and billing address.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under the age of 18 years.
How Turing Uses Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We process your application information internally. We may provide aggregated statistical data about application statistics to reputable third-party vendors, but this data will not include any personally identifying information. We may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with the law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of Turing, including Turing staff, students and alumni. Application data is retained by Turing for as long as necessary to maintain business operations related to application activities. In the event of bankruptcy or insolvency, all application data would be destroyed. In the event that an applicant is accepted and subsequently enrolled in Turing this information will not be destroyed, however will be maintained in the accepted students’ personal file kept internally by Turing and maintained in accordance with Federal, State and other regulatory body mandates.
How Turing Protects Your Information
When you log in or use your credit card with us, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. As effective as encryption technology is, however, no security system is completely impenetrable, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the internet.
Correcting and Updating Your Personal Information
You may make changes and updates to any personal information you have provided us through the application process prior to submitting your application. To review and update your personal information or to ensure it is accurate after submission of your application you can contact us at contact@turing.edu.
Third Party Vendors
Turing does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. However, Third Party Vendors may be used in order to process payments made in conjunction with your application. Turing is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these third party vendors.

This website includes links or registration with other third party websites. Turing is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these third party websites. Any inquiries or concerns about these third party websites should be addressed through that particular website.
Your Consent
By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Turing for the purpose of processing your application and, if accepted to the Program, your enrollment in Turing. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page before the changes take effect. Our use of information gathered while the current policy is in effect will always be consistent with the current policy, even if we change that policy later.
