About me
I'm a software developer specializing in backend development with a background in iOS/Android Mobile Applications. For the backend I've set up SQL relational databases, created my own apis that I can then create a separate application to interact with. I most recently used Ruby on Rails to create web applications, which also utilize Oauth for authentication, CircleCI for CI/CD, and caching among other things. I have previously created mobile applications that interact with different devices via bluetooth, then generate a map based off of the devices results and the current location of the mobile device. I'm looking for my next opportunity to learn new tech and create cool stuff.

Tools Used
This web application was built with a separate front end and back end as a group project. The front end utilizes Bootstrap to make it mobile friendly and uses Oauth to sign in users and associate a account with their Discord account.
The feature enabled right now is Character creation, letting the user choose their name, class, specialty. Multiple characters can be created and saved. The are connected to the Discord account used to sign in and will load the list from the backend.

Grandma used to have a bin full of recipes written on index cards from her favorite books and magazines. That was messy, easy-to-lose, and the cards decayed, especially if you spilt your pasta water on it while following along. The internet changed things, and we can digitally save recipes! However, many websites only save recipes from their website, and don't allow you to import recipes from other locations.
Enter Mon Recette. You can save and edit recipes from multiple websites. Grandma doesn't need to worry about losing or ruining her index cards, and you don't need to worry about having to visit multiple places to find that one recipe you are looking for, but couldn't remember if it belonged to this blog or that blog or allrecipes or foodnetwork, etc.
