Hello! I'm Andrew. I've recently switched careers from telecommunications to dive into the fascinating world of software development. Recently, I've graduated from the Turing School of Software and Design as a Back-End Engineer where I acquired the essential skills to excel in the dynamic realm of programming.

My solid grounding in software engineering and my eagerness to stay abreast with the latest technologies make me a flexible learner and adaptable professional. Moreover, I've honed key transferable skills like effective communication and cross-team collaboration from my diverse professional background.

BookHaven is a web application designed to provide inventory management for Little Free Libraries developed with a team of 6 over the course of a 10 days using Python and Django. This project allowed us to practice agile methodologies and working with a dedicated front end team as well as exploring a new language and framework.

PlateBook is an online message board centered around license plates developed by 4 people over the course of two weeks. This project used Google Maps API for geolocating posts, and consumed a Sentiment Analysis API for chat moderation. This project allowed our team to hone skills in using Google Oauth 2, Service Oriented Architecture, Docker, and Swagger Documentation. Additionally, we practiced using Bootstrap as a frontend framework.
