About me
My background in the Navy familiarized me with the fundamentals of electrical theory, troubleshooting, and leadership before my transition into the civilian world. I was first exposed to programming while I was finishing my BSBA at the University of Colorado and decided to pursue a career in software development.
I chose to attend the Turing School of Software and Design to help develop the skills necessary to excel in a professional team environment. Thankfully, a lot of the skills I had learned as a Sailor regarding leadership, communication, and problem-solving allowed me to develop a strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
My journey has helped me grow into someone with the technical abilities and mindset to persevere through difficult challenges and learn from them. I look forward to pursuing software development positions that allow me to apply these skills for the benefit of others!
