About me
I have spent a majority of my professional life in customer facing roles, with an emphasis on sharing my knowledge of products genuinely and consistently. My earnest goal each day is to meet the challenges ahead of me with optimism and a curiosity for learning - while recognizing where my deep empathy for others can help elevate my work to the next level.
I am an eager member of any team I am on, and I am excited to translate the skills I formed over my previous work experiences into decades of collaborative work as a software developer!

As our capstone project at Turing, our team asked how we might enable a user to use cutting edge AI technology to spur their imagination as it becomes more and more a part of our daily lives.
The answer we brought into reality is Hyper Loom, a 'world browser' to spur creative pursuits - all generated with novel prompting of ChatGPT and MidJourney to seed a robust database.
The result is like nothing you've seen before - hundreds of self-consistent worlds with characters, locations of note, and historical events that give the reader just enough to start crafting their own stories of magic and technological wonder.

This project was a lovely foray into the world of bird calls and songs, embarked upon by myself and 3 other students at Turing in our 3rd module (of 4).
Our general goal was to create an application to encourage users to engage with the natural world around them - we kept the UI straightforward for the initial implementation of functionality, but this application is ideal to return to as the underlying RESTful API we used has much more data to offer as we refactor and extend our scope.

This project was made as a four person group project within module 3 at Turing. This application allows a user to browse photos offered by NASA, originating from the mars rovers of past and current missions. It's an ideal project to show friends and family the next time Mars comes up at a reunion, personal testing has found.
The technology stack used for this project includes: ReactJS, Redux, Router, Cypress, and GitHub. It was completed using an agile workflow and an initial MVP sprint of two weeks.

This is a film browsing application I built while I was a module 3 student at Turing. It allows users to browse from a list of films, and filter through the selection via a search form or rating slider.
This project was an excellent experience for my partner and I, as we gained extensive practice with React, Router(v5.3), and Cypress within the 10 day time span we had available.
