The word excellence for me embodies a sense of persistence, drive and dedication to executing at the highest level to achieve outcomes. I grew up in Southern California and knew that I wanted to be outdoors, so I moved to Boulder, Colorado to pursue my climbing career in 2009.

I spent many years of working through the ranks as a competition routesetter and climbing coach where I taught America's best climbers at Team ABC and traveled as a competition routesetter, eventually making my way to the Tokyo 2021 olympics where two of my former athletes represented the US in sport climbing's debut.

Both routesetting and coaching instilled in me the value of good leadership and problem solving - both of which I bring to all aspects of my professional life. I am adept at building cohesive company culture, managing change and driving growth; a proven strategic manager with a detail oriented mindset.

I am a software engineer interested in bringing those skills to assisting small teams to help optimize their time and workflows while maintaining a strong sense of camaraderie and culture.

For the next phase of my career, I want to be somewhere I can use my expertise as a software developer to make a meaningful impact on people's daily lives by helping the to be more productive and effective through the use of that technology.
