About me

I am a goal driven person with a driver personality. After graduating college I went to work for Sherwin-Williams where I was hired on as an assistant manager. Upon receiving my promotion to store manager, I set goals for 3, 5 and 10 years and I was able to complete them in 3 years. I aim to create high goals and standards for myself in all facets of my life. I feel it is this quality that allows me to achieve high levels of success in everything that I do. After a successful career at The Sherwin-Williams Company, I decided to pursue my passion for the tech industry. Now I am currently enrolled in the back-end engineering program at Turing School of Software & Design learning Ruby on Rails and I truly love everything about it.

A CORS group project(FE-JS/BE-Ruby) that expanded across 15 days. This project used an agile workflow to construct a web application that allowed visitors to research endangered species. On the back end we used multiple micro-services to feed into a main backend repo. Consumed 3rd party api links in the micro-services and exposed custom json responses based on FE needs.
