About me

I am a former chef who has changed careers into software development in order to pursue more opportunities to grow, learn, and utilize skills like logic, problem solving, and leadership that I honed while growing through my previous career. I am incredibly passionate about creating and helping make spaces in which people can develop themselves and their projects into something greater than the sum of their parts. In the time I’ve spent in the world of software development so far, I’ve had the opportunity to lead a few small team projects and represent a group of my peers to help foster community building within my education environment. This has proven to be an incredibly fulfilling and exciting space to be in and has opened my eyes to a world of opportunity to continue growth within myself and the world around me.

Tatt Daddy is an app designed to connect users with tattoo artists in order to get pre-designed, flash tattoos in a quick and easy fashion. Users will scroll through different available designs that licensed tattoo artists will upload to the application, select tattoos they would like to get, and get connected with the artist to schedule an appointment, chat about small details of the work, and finalize payment. The goal is to allow tattoo collectors to easily add to their collection and provide artists an opportunity to fill more of their schedule with quick and efficient appointments.

This app was built with a team of 5 developers as the consultancy project for MOD 3 2311, from Turing School of Software and Design.
