About me

I'm a detail-oriented back-end web developer who prioritizes organization, efficiency, and clean code. Leveraging my expertise in network management, server logic, and IT integrations, I thrive in crafting robust and scalable solutions. Whether it's solo coding or collaborative development, I always chart out a detailed roadmap to ensure optimized performance and seamless functionality.

Drawing from my background as an IT director for a community driven non-profit, I deeply value the collaborative spirit in the software development realm. I firmly believe that for tech teams to deliver innovative products, each member must play to their strengths and continuously refine their weaknesses. My approach isn't just about writing effective code; it's about ensuring each contributor thrives, fostering an environment of collective growth.

If you're seeking a back-end developer who brings a strategic and team-centric perspective to your projects, let's connect and build great things together!

Road Trip Planner is a back-end project that exposes multiple API endpoints to make data available from MapQuest API, Unsplash API, OpenLibrary API, and Weather API. It allows the front-end to obtain JSON data that contains weather information for a city, where the city and state are passed in the URL body as a location param, and units (imperial or metric) are passed in as an optional param. The result exposed 6 end-points that the front-end can access after obtaining a unique, secure API key.
