About me

I am a Front End Developer and eager to learn new things. I was previously in the customer service and hospitality field and involved in daily problem solving situations. I am now looking to utilize those developed skills in a new way. The switch was a perfect time in my life to have the privilege and ability to switch gears and take a risk!

My background has allowed me to communicate with various people from different backgrounds and problem solve situations. I previously worked on cruise ships with over 60 different nationalities. This allowed me to learn through diverse situations. These traits of problem solving and communication are important to the tech world.

I chose software development in particular to build relationships with others and to expand my personal abilities. There are many people in this profession and it is important to learn from as many people as I can and continue to grow!

Simply put, Street Eatz is an app made to help hungry people find good food. Designed and built by a team of seven student developers, Street Eatz compiles a back-end database of Denver-local food trucks with the end goal of connecting vendors with customers, whether they're new or they're and long-time fans. Customers can explore food trucks in their area, complete with details about each truck's current location, wait time, menu items, and crowd-sourced reviews, as well as follow their favorite food trucks for status updates straight from the vendor. Vendors can use the application to broadcast their open or closed status, their current location, wait time, and their menu to connect directly with users. It's a win-win.
