I am a former insurance professional who pursued a career in tech because I like to build things that make people's lives easier or more fun. I have a lot of experience in paying attention to details and reading documentation. I work well on a team with an attitude of "your win is my win" and "we're all working towards a common goal." I am drawn to mobile app development and have a few projects that I am working on in my spare time.

This is an app I wrote in React that shows a random quote on page load, allows a user to search for an author to see their quotes, and shows a brief bio of the author with a link to Wikipedia to learn more. I built this in 6 days.

This is an app written in React Native for our stretch tech in Mod 3. We learned React Native on our own in order to build it. Doom Scroll connects to several API and shows current information on earthquakes, volcanoes, wildfires, severe storms, and asteroids. It includes maps, coordinates, and links to more information about the disaster. We built this app in two weeks.
