About me
I'm a veteran with two combat tours turned software engineer and I recently graduated from Turing School of Software and Design with a Back End focus. My most recent professional background comes from industrial and electrical machine sector in which I performed a variety of tasks from preventative maintenance and inventory control that require problem solving and critical thinking which I utilize to help build well tested and reusable code.
In this new career, I look to bring my past background in industrial machines into the world of web app development. My goal is to focus on becoming a better software engineer by continuing to learn new technologies and frameworks along side my peers.

Consumed API to get video game data and exposed RESTful APIs at a high level through TDD and OOP. Worked in Sprints utilizing Github Projects to form tickets and track development. Used PostgreSQL as a database and Active Record as an ORM to store and retrieve data.
