About me
My strong desire to help people led me down a winding road of education. Formally studying business, biology, and food science in college, I eventually left to pursue software development on my own, where I could combine my love of different technologies in a way to make a difference.
While out of tech for a few years, I held a few different managerial positions where I honed my communication and teamwork skills. I decided to come to Turing to really refine my technical skills and find out the things that changed while I was out of the tech field.
In my time at Turing, I had a blast being able to utilize and refresh my skills, learn new ways of problem solving and new frameworks, and help stimulate growth within my cohort.
I am looking forward to re-entering the field that I found so enjoyable and fulfilling, and hopefully combine that love of coding with one of my many other passions!
