Dana Zack

Hello! My name is Dana, and I am a FE software engineer with a background as a physician assistant and social justice educator. I am socially conscious, growth-minded, optimistic, and team-oriented. I would love to convince you why you should pick me to join your development team.

Working as a healthcare provider during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I witnessed the far-reaching impacts of social inequities firsthand. While the pandemic interrupted the lives of everyone, people of systemically oppressed backgrounds were disproportionately affected by inferior health outcomes and debilitating losses. From my view on the front-line, the differences were blatant, alarming, sobering.

My interest in technology stems from the belief that knowledge is power. The more we can connect people to information, the more we can support and elevate marginalized communities. As such, I was inspired to pursue software engineering with the goal and intention of developing technology that promotes positive social change.
