About me
My name is Crow Rising and I am former tattooer and a recent graduate of Turing School of Software and Design.
After 20+ years of tattooing, (10 of which were running my own business), I wanted a change. I made the decision to transition into a career in software development.
I was inspired by the inherent problem solving involved in software engineering. Fueled by curiosity to understand and learn new and challenging concepts along with my passion for collaborating with others in combination with being a self directed learner and leader made software engineering an obvious choice for me.

PlayPal is a playground and park finder app. Designed for parents looking for new, fun, safe playgrounds within any given area/location. PlayPal has the ability for registered users to upload pictures, rate and review playgrounds that help inform the community.

In the Field is a mushroom identification app. Designed for folks looking to explore, learn about, and identify mushrooms. In the Field has the ability for registered users to upload pictures from mushrooms they have found in the wild and get a list of probable matches complete with information about said mushroom. Users also have the ability to create their own field guide of mushrooms they have saved.
