About me

As a member of the 2211 Backend cohort at the Turing School of Software Engineering, I am dedicated to becoming a skilled and passionate software developer. Before enrolling at Turing, I had a diverse career background that included working as a CNA, a teacher, and managing my family's nail salon. While I enjoyed these roles, I found that my passion for technology and software development was stronger.

As a manager, I was consumed by the demands of the business and felt that my work-life balance was lacking. Seeking a more fulfilling career, I spoke with several family members who were software developers and heard about their positive experiences. After researching the field and the school, I knew that the Turing program was the right fit for me.

Through my studies at Turing, I have discovered a deep understanding of the challenges, complexities, and importance of teamwork in software development. I am confident that my skills and dedication to this field will enable me to make a valuable contribution to any development team.

Please feel free to contact me via email or phone to schedule an interview or discuss my qualifications further. Thank you for considering me as a potential candidate.

The mission of Do Good is to provide users with convenient access to positivity and an opportunity to be part of the good in the world.

Users simply click the "Find a Random Act of Kindness" button and are presented with 3 random acts to choose from. Once chosen, they schedule the "good deed" and it gets added to their dashboard. Users are able to invite others to join in on the fun as well as add it to their calendars because, let's be real, life can get hectic.

For visitors who aren't ready to jump into completing an act, they can browse our library of kind act photos for the feel-goods.
