I am a software developer that comes from the hospitality and caretaking industry. After capping out on room to expand my knowledge in my previous field, I looked for an industry where I could apply the skills I had already developed, such as adaptability, patience and problem-solving in a high pressure environment. Software development utilizes all of those skills while providing me with the opportunity to continue learning new languages and frameworks.
