Software Developer currently enrolled in Turing School of Software and Design's Back-End Engineering program.

As a former pre-med student with a bachelor's degree in Biology that has transitioned into software development, I am aiming to pair my lifelong interest in technology and love of working with data to create applications that help solve complex problems and help people of all types.

Streamr is a convenient tool that allows users to share, save, and look up their favorite shows to stream. After logging in, users are shown a "Recommended By Friends" feed of the latest greatest shows to binge. From there, they can may view the show's details, look up other shows, or save shows to their Watch List to check out later. This project was comprised of 3 front-enders and 4 back-enders collaborating through an remote self-learning environment. It took the team approximately 90 hours total to finish within a 17-day timeframe with daily standups and weekly retros to accomplish our finished product.

EpiTrac is an interactive public health application that enables users to view weekly notifiable disease counts by state as well as relevant articles and information for each disease. This project's goal is to create a successful web application from a student-led project idea, focusing on Service-Oriented Architecture with a separate front and back end. The back-end handles the project's API consumption and acts as the interface to the project's database.
