I am a Professional Naval Aviator turned Software Engineer with over 10 years and 2,000 flight hours of civil and military aviation experience.
My entire professional career has been one of working on teams, continuously learning, adapting quickly, managing complexity, and weighing risk. I am looking forward to taking those skills and applying them to a new position in software engineering.

My Capstone Project.
This was a custom built RESTful API created in parallel with a React web application. My team selected to design and build this back-end with a totally new language and framework!
Project Learning Goals:
- Gain exposure and experience with quickly learning a totally new language and framework.
- Implement Agile work processes throughout development.
- User Service Oriented Architecture concepts.
- Practice professional Git workflows and PR reviews.
- Implement Continusous Integrations.
- Further hone communicational skills with a Front-End Team by doing daily stand-ups and slack networking.

- Expose aggregated data from multiple other external APIs
- Require an authentication token
- Follow CRUD functionality
- Build an API based off of a provided design document
- Test API with a mocking tool (VCR)
