About me
Former educator and self starter. I enrolled in Turing to change my career to software development. With my combined experience as an educator and as a software developer, I’ve been equipped with strong communication, technical skills and an eye for engaging design. I'm skilled in several Front-End technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React and more. Turing has prepared me to pursue a career far beyond teaching how to do the work. Agile methodologies, time management, relationship with colleagues, teamwork, leadership and habit development are also core concepts that I have been heavily exposed to because of this program. Along with my experience in software development, I have over 5 years experience working as an online English teacher to thousands of children. In this time, I implemented personally curated lesson plans through a virtual platform with the use of several digital educational tools. I managed to obtain a large client base with hundreds of families all over the world through delivering and producing engaging content. I loved it. I'm excited to learn as much as I can regarding programming. This journey thus far has been fun and highly rewarding.
