About me
Solution-oriented problem solver with 20+ years of workplace experience in construction management, Restaurant management, brand management and sales. Through all of my changes in career as well as location, I have learned that nothing satisfies me more personally and professionally than the art and process of learning itself.
The short and clear story behind the decision to drop everything and pivot into a career in software engineering. No other path could possibly continue to satisfy my hunger for learning while at the same time open opportunities for me to help others. To help the world evolve into a better, more inclusive place while I myself evolve into a better me.
I chose the Front End program at Turing because of my love for creative design as well as for the psychology of the user's interaction with a given product. I know I chose correctly because I have absolutely loved every second of it. I am currently self teaching Ruby on Rails, creating back end as well as full stack projects.
