About me
Previously coming from an insurance company, I was happy and content with my life and my career. As time went on, I slowly started to crave more of a challenge. Not only to make the days seem less dull but to strive for continuously growth. I had learned so much from with this company and it had started to feel like home. So with a heavy heart I said goodbye; I made up my mind, it was time to start the newest chapter in my life.
My decision to trek into the tech industry was heavily influenced by my uncle who has always been a role model of mine. As he was always been in the industry by proxy I have always been surrounded by computers. This leap to pursue becoming a software developer has ignited a fire and passion for coding, combining two things I love: computers and problem solving.
My current skill sets include being able to learn at a rapid pace, working in solo and team environments, and lets be honest googling really well. I can write in Ruby/Rails, I have experience created and consuming API's. I am also comfortable with Git processes, taking and providing feedback, and asking for help. I am looking for a new company to learn from and call home.
