Elegy is an app which allows users to create their own memorial profiles, designate executors for those memorial profiles, and share their memorial with recipients.

The app is built in a service-oriented architecture, with the front end app built in React and the back end app built in Rails. My contributions to the back end app include attaching images to a user using ActiveStorage with AWS-S3 storage, exposing endpoints for CRUD functionality on Users, Executors, Images, and Recipients, and setting up the ability to mail to a user's list of recipients using ActionMailer.

The Find My City app helps users search, save, and compare cities based on scores in 17 different categories. This project implements a service-oriented architecture with a backend REST API storing and serving data to a frontend app. The backend app consumes Teleport and OpenWeather apis and serves the frontend serialized JSON data.

To use the app, click on the login button, enter an email and password, then search for a city. If you might like the city, click 'Add to Favorites' so you can compare the ones you've selected.
