About me

As a prior facilitator, I am driven to unlock human potential by way of providing an opportunity for growth. I am involved in literacy and therapy networks, love sound design, and have found that I am most effective currently when translating between audio engineers, production specialists and a dev team. My knowledge of python scriptwork implementation to the UI is helpful during the creation and editing process. I am committed to orienting the user by providing flow in an application.

This App takes you on a Salon (living room) style journey (though it may be used in the bathroom) using the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City's 47k-artwork-deep API. It is fascinating to search personal interests and see the results. It becomes even more personal when you can create your own salon using your favorite artwork on a subject matter, artist, medium, or era query. Context API is used for global state management and was a stretch tech for me. It took likely 3 days to feel comfortable with, as I had not done a project with Redux yet. A big win on this project was being able to research fully before implementation and because of that patient time, write code that was successful and invigorating.

Voyage into a band's history and get updated as they grow using this setlist-generating app. You may take a look at a tour and choose a show and have a setlist generated. If you see a song you like, explore it further for details and performances. You keep an active tab of your favorite songs so you can stay in the loop with your favorite artist's performances or reminisce about a past musical and friendship experience.
