About me

Back-end Developer with a passion for, and history of, work in the education and non-profit sectors. My previous roles has given me experience in working with teams in many different environments, designing efficient and cost effective solutions to technical problems, and communicating technical information to a variety of non-technical audiences. I enjoy problem solving and growing my technical skill set. I am currently attending the Back-End Engineering program at Turing School of Software & Design.

An application which provides a user with custom movie recommendations. Recommendations are generated based on data gained from movies the user likes and dislikes, as well as what services the user subscribes to. Consumes the Movie DB API to provide movie data.

A meal planning application with a focus on sustainability and minimizing food waste. Suggests recipes that share common ingredients with recipes the user expresses an interest in. Consumes the Spoonacular Food API to provide recipes and the Kroger API for OAUTH.
