About me

I have always been a data nerd. I am simply mesmerized by all the ways data can be interacted with and manipulated. Even with this love I took a long and winding road to Software Development. When I was in college I majored in Interdisciplinary studies with a focus on Management and Exercise Science, mostly because of the data. After graduating I sought a career that would allow me to pursue another interest of mine, problem solving. So I reentered school with a focus on Physical Therapy.

After coming to the conclusion that the medical field is not the best way for me to help people I regrouped and put my efforts into my passions. Software development allows me to combine my fascination with data and my natural problem solving skills honed by my experience working with patients. This new path has introduced me to a field of lifelong learning. There will always be new things to learn as a developer and that excites me the most. Through the twists and turns of life I have never lost my drive to help people though. Working to help people live easier, happier, and healthier lives is what truly motivates me.
