About me

I am a front-end software developer interested in test-driven development (TDD) best practices and any technologies that may contribute to producing quality projects that exceed expectations for functionality and user experience. I value working in teams of communicative and sharp team members and strive to organize my work in a way that promotes understanding for the group.

One of my personal goals is to engage and encourage others through the course of my work. My prior experience as an SEO legal content writer, a field manager for a non-profit organization, a graduate teacher's assistant, and various customer-facing service industry roles all aim to promote a cohesive community by instructing and engaging others.

Now, as a software developer, I strive to blend my interpersonal and communication skills with my eye for technical issues and creative problem-solving to produce quality products while also encouraging and enjoying a cohesive team environment.

This application constructs hypothetical match-ups between anime characters of three different anime universes. Users can select two fighters from any of these three universes, see the outcome of the match, influence this outcome by voting on who they think would win, and select either character to find out about that character's stats: character summary, max power level, fighting style, moves and abilities, and a random quote.

This app was created with the React.js framework, React Router to mimic a multi-page application, and Cypress.io for fully automated end-to-end testing.

Mesh is a full stack application that provides students at the Turing School of Software and Design a way to find and keep track of all their project feedback throughout all four modules at Turing. It also provides instructors with a way to check students' previous feedback and submit feedback for projects recently completed. Once new feedback has been submitted, students receive an email notification and can find their new feedback on the app.

This app was built with the Vue.js framework, utilizes Vue Router to mimic a multipage application, and implements Vuex, a global state management tool. It also utilizes Cypress.io for fully-automated end-to-end testing.
