All my life I have been passionate about two things: being a positive and reliable resource for the people around me and interpreting data to solve conflicts and answer questions. I have been fortunate to have a wealth of professional opportunities that have sharpened both of these hard and soft skill sets. These experiences range from my college days working as a geospatial technician where I characterized satellite images to generate spatial data for urban tree canopy coverage in major cities, to more recently serving as an Air Force space operations officer where I led and managed teams of up to 45 personnel that were tasked with analyzing and interpolating satellite orbital data.
Throughout my career I have consistently believed one thing to always be true: the quality of a team’s product directly correlates to the quality of the team’s work environment and the quality of the team’s camaraderie. With this philosophy in mind my career goal is to develop and work on software that leverages data to improve the human experience.
