As an aspiring software developer, I bring a unique perspective to the industry with my background as a former US Army "Green Beret" Special Forces Medical Sergeant. I have extensive experience working in high-stakes environments with critical stakeholders, which has taught me how to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team.

Web application connecting users to National Park Service (NPS) campsites. Developed using service-oriented architecture with a team of 7 over a 3-week period. Implemented back-end repository to create API endpoints based on front-end requirements consuming both NPS and Google APIs. Utilized AWS S3 for user image storage to improve load times and reduce server load.
