Bookworm is a web application that connects you with a community of book lovers who are eager to share their favorite stories with one another.

This project utilized a service oriented architecture, with teams of 3-4 developers working on separate back end and front end services. I worked with a team of two other developers to create our back end with Rails, Graphql, and a postgresql database. It consumes the third party Google Books API and provides all crud functionality for the relevant objects through a robust Graphql schema.

Utilizes a service-oriented architecture (front-end and back-end rails applications), OAuth with Strava, and consumes three third-party APIs (OpenBrewery, CollectAPI - Gas Prices, and Strava API). Worked with a team of six others to develop both the front end and back end services over a 9-day period.
