About me
When I discovered front-end software development, I knew I had found my place. I was looking for something that could combine my passion for education and accessibility with a fresh challenge that enabled me to be creative, work on agile teams, and use my problem-solving strengths. As a software developer, I have enjoyed designing and building products with users and accessibility at the forefront.
My background in anthropology and 10 years working in early childhood and special education have strengthened my flexibility and adaptability skills in navigating student needs. As part of my work with families, children, and community members, I emphasize partnership, team building, and the ability to think outside the box and find solutions.
I’m excited to combine my background with my new tech skills in EdTech to help educators with tools and technologies to make learning more accessible for all users.
