About me
After spending nearly 10 years in supply chain and wholesale food production, the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic turned my world upside down. The day to day problem solving and teamwork that I once enjoyed no longer existed. Logistics problems, rising costs, and work from home policies had stripped me of the daily chaos I had grown to love. Luckily for me I have a wife in tech who supports my continuing education. After following through on her suggestion to give a "try coding" class at Turing a try, I immediately was hooked. Eight months later I couldn't be more happy with the decision and I am thoroughly excited to rejoin the workforce with a new passion.

A Ski/Snowboard application providing both locals and tourists of Colorado a one stop shop for all resort info, webcams, and lift tickets. This was a solo project completed in a 4 day push. Tools: React, React Router, Cypress, Express.js.

An application for Denver metro area hikes, walks, and parks that are dog friendly. This was a "stretch-tech" project, requiring our group to take on a new technology that we did not previously work with. The stretch-tech of our choice was backend. This required us to use Express.js, Knex, and PostgresQL to build our tables and seed them with data.
