About me

Hello there! I am a software engineer, finishing up the backend engineering program at Turing School of Software & Design.

Life long learning is my jam. Software development is a space that allows me to continuously learn, grow, and collaborate with others. Before Turing, I spent 4 years working as a mechanical engineer in the oil & gas industry. I then decided to explore fermentation science. Which led me to becoming a project manager for an engineering/construction company within the brewing & distilling industries.

Band-aid helps musicians and venues connect with one another through a streamlined booking process. Collaborated with an Agile team of 3 BE & 3 FE engineers that included development planning to create a full stack app with a Ruby on Rails BE & FE.

Welcome to Sweater Weather! This Ruby on Rails API application helps plan road trips. This app will allow users to see the current weather as well as the forecasted weather at the destination.

In this service-oriented architecture, the (theoretical) front-end team will communicate with this back-end application through an API. Sweater Weather exposes the API that satisfies the front-end team’s requirements.
