About me
I am most known for my dedication to self-improvement and my ambitious nature. I recently decided to continue this tradition by becoming a software engineer. Although I am transitioning into this industry I know that I bring a multitude of transferable skills from previous careers.
During my career at the NSA being extremely organized and meticulous was imperative in order to be successful. All of my achievements there as an Intelligence Analyst stemmed from these qualities and a genuine love for learning.
My time in the Navy as an Arabic Linguist highlighted the importance of being a team player and having strong social skills. Consistently being flexible, positive, and willing to adapt to changes made coworkers/superiors love working with me. I am both easy to coach and a natural leader.
Combining these qualities with my growing technical skillset makes me a strong candidate for any company in need of fresh talent. If you are looking for a new addition to your team, feel free to message me here.

My Portfolio
My Portfolio
Tools Used
Focused on UI/UX to design and build a portfolio website that showcases my personality, overall skills, and past projects. I used this project to learn Sass ensuring I thoroughly understood preprocessing, variables, nesting, mixins, and modules using them all consistently throughout.

Smart Tech
Smart Tech
Tools Used
Smart Tech is the store Steve Carell's character in 40-Year-Old Virgin worked with his wild bunch of "friends". More importantly it is an e-commerce website that I am building to showcase all of the skills that I have learned while studying frontend engineering. Users have the ability to add/remove items from a shopping cart, sort items via multiple criteria, view items by category etc. The website is responsive, E2E tested, fully accessible, continuously integrated, and includes user error handling.

Cocktail Lounge
Cocktail Lounge

Tools Used
A group project used to self-teach TypeScript in a collaborative environment. We also used the project to demonstrate a deep understanding of API consumption and E2E testing. The application gives the user the option to choose a cocktail from available categories or be suggested 4 different drinks at random.
