About me

Front-end software developer with 8+ years of real-world, first-hand client experience in both a marketing capacity as well as direct customer interaction.

An avid learner that loves being challenged to think about the world, or the task at hand, in new ways. Software development allows me to approach problems creatively and encourages me to collaborate and ask questions; especially drawn to front-end architectural challenges.

I am looking for an opportunity that allows me to stay curious and deliver on meaningful projects. I aim to leverage my background and skill set to create experiences for people through a digital medium that can enhance their lives.

Collaborated with BE team to create a Halloween-themed application for users to view houses in the Denver area participating in trick-or-treating. Users are also able to register their own house, which is then added to the Treat Streets map. Implemented mutations through Apollo client to update the BE database when a user successfully registers their house via form submission.

Nominated for Demo Comp October 2022!

Calamity Kitchen is a modern React application built for users who play Zelda: Breath of the Wild to view and filter ingredients available for cooking in the game by specific Cooking Effect. When a user selects a Cooking Effect from the dropdown, the classic cooking jingle from the game plays as the corresponding ingredient cards are displayed. A user is able to click on a specific ingredient card to be brought to that ingredient's details page with additional information on the clicked ingredient. Tested user flows with Cypress, including intercepting and stubbing network requests with fixtures to ensure app functionality behaved as expected for happy and sad paths.
