About me
I am an eternal work in progress. I'm always reaching higher, aiming to learn new things, or grow myself in some way. I have a background in manufacturing, where I honed my ability to solve problems in creative ways, as well leadership where I developed my verbal and written communication skills. For me, programming is a vehicle to solve new problems, challenge myself, and continue to grow and learn. I look forward to providing solutions for a company where we are putting good into the world, and one that supports people.

The List
The List
Tools Used
The List is a web app that tracks recommendations for books to read and movies to watch that a users friend has recommended. The user can also add media to their own watch and read lists. A user can reject or accept recommendations, and then complete them once they've finished. With this app, a user will be less likely to forget a recommendation, or who recommended it to them!

One Small Thing
One Small Thing
Tools Used
The goal of this project was to create an app that gave a user topical news stories, and also let the do 'one small thing' in response. For now, those small things are a meditation to bring the user some peace or contacting their congressional representatives and urge them into action. On the beck end, we utilized GraphQL and made use of three APIs, some of which did not get used in production as they were for stretch goals. We worked closely with a dedicated FE team to bring One Small Thing to life, and practiced using Agile methodologies as a group.
