Coming from nearly 15 years in the service industry, I bring strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a robust work ethic to the table. I enjoy working as part of a team and look forward to further developing my interpersonal skills while also building upon my technical abilities. In addition to web development, I'm also interested in writing and editing technical documentation.
When away from the screen, you can find me volunteering in the prep lab at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, hiking in Colorado's glorious outdoors, or sipping a craft beer with a book.

Everyone recommends their favorite books, movies, and other media to their friends. The List stores your personal book and movie recommendations, including who suggested that item, in one convenient user interface. Several external APIs are utilized to allow users to browse media and then recommend their favorites to other users. Save books or movies for later in your own personal watchlist and mark each item complete once you've read it or watched it.

Sweater Weather is a Rails API only application built upon the requirements of a fictional frontend to both consume external and expose internal API endpoints. The backend functionality retrieves current, daily, and hourly weather data for a user-specified location and timeframe.
