About me

I am a software developer preparing for a new role in tech after 10 years of professional experience in higher education. Having attended an intensive back-end engineering bootcamp program at Turing School of Software Engineering, I have prepared to enter the workforce with OOP, Ruby on Rails and databases experience.

My former career sparked my interest and allowed exploration of SQL, Excel, JavaScript and Tableau where I self-taught and implemented basic code to automate various office functions. I earned my M.S. degree in Computer Information Systems and will earn a certificate in back-end engineering from Turing School of Software Engineering. With my background, experience, and skills learned I look forward to a fulfilling second career in software development.
