About me

Hello 👋🏻

I’m Steph- an empathy-driven Front-End Engineer.

With a background in retail and hospitality management, my passion lies in advocating for others and cultivating unique solutions to accommodate every need. I am excited to expand my knowledge and develop my skills as I join a growth-minded team that values different perspectives, allowing innovation to thrive!

Through my experience working on diverse and inclusive teams, I have learned to actively listen to others, contributing an inclusive, welcoming and purposeful dynamic. From there, I am eager and open-minded to implement creative solutions and iterate collaboratively so all members of my team feel empowered and energized to continue working harmoniously.

As someone with an unconventional background, my mission is to make the tech industry a more inclusive space. I want to empower others like myself to pursue a fulfilling career in the tech industry and hope to one day act as a mentor and role model to future career-changers.

When I’m not coding, you’ll find me cooking for the ones I love, hiking with my dogs or searching for the perfect cup of espresso.
