As a lifelong athlete and lover of learning languages, I know any new and current skill can be mastered and maintained if ample time and effort is put towards it. I am a backend software developer with a focus in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and SQL. I am looking to further my skills as a developer by joining an organization and supporting products I believe in.

Sweater Weather is an application to plan road trips and allow users to see the current weather as well as the forecasted weather at their selected destination. The application exposes travel time, forecast, and image data and implements authentication functionality. Multiple endpoints were created to output daily, hourly, and current weather by location. Consumes OpenWeatherMap API, Mapquest API, and Unsplash API.
Utilize service oriented architecture and CRUD functionality to create an E-Commerce Application. Merchant and item data endpoints are exposed, by means of ActiveRecord queries and JSON serializers, to be consumed by a frontend team. RSpec and Postman tests are applied to render correct output.
