About me

Before switching to software as a full-time pursuit I worked in various industries such as logistics, agriculture, fisheries and education. As I switch to a fixed path as a developer, I find I can satisfy my need for exploration with software projects and exploring the vast tech industry. I've grown roots in many places, and am above all else adaptable.

"Cuisine Odyssey" is a group project inspired by the dilemma of not knowing what to cook for dinner. The app's interface allows the user to spin a globe or a bottle, depending on if they are looking for recipes or cocktails. When the user clicks to spin, a random region is selected and up to 5 recipes are generated. The user can choose to spin again, to save the recipe to their dashboard using a "like" feature, or dislike the recipes. This portion of the project encapsulates the front end of the application and creates the viewable user interface.
