About me

I'm a software engineer who's highly motivated to expand my skillset and knowledge by working with a collaborative team that is pursuing excellence.

After turning down a scholarship to physical therapy school, I explored a variety of opportunities from wilderness therapy in Arizona, to tour guiding in Alaska, and on to managing a fitness studio and photographing weddings in Colorado.

My diverse background has given me the strengths of:

  • Adaptability
  • Quick to learn and master new skills
  • Interpersonal skills and customer service
  • Leadership and management
  • Strong accountability and ownership for my work
  • Critical thinking

In software, I've discovered the field that fits my love of taking on new challenges, continuously learning, and working with a team. I'm excited to do high quality work and develop my efficiency and effectiveness as a developer while working on software that makes a positive impact.

This app was built as a final project at Turing. The assignment was intended to simulate a 8 hr take home challenge. I chose to put much more time into the project to solidify all the skills I've learned at Turing.
