About me
I'm a Front End Engineer, life-long martial artist, and art museum going to-er. I work part-time as an instructor at my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy and in my earlier years, I spent time in the automotive sales and food service industries.
Being in martial arts, both as a student and an instructor, has given me great insight into what it means to be empathetic and inclusive. I pride myself on my ability to encourage others to better themselves and have fun while doing it.
Please feel free to reach out to me at @reganloseydev@gmail. com, I'd love to chat more about the skills and experience I can bring to your team.

My own personal site! I had a ton of fun working on this. I really enjoyed the challenge of fun responsive design and implementing a dark mode.

Sour Pomodoro
Sour Pomodoro
Tools Used
Sour Pomodoro(definitely NOT Rotten Tomatoes) is a one-stop shop for some of the worst movies from the past couple of years. The homepage provides a quick view of each movie, with a star-rating visual above the poster. Choose to sort by a number of metrics to find the worst-rated, the oldest, or just alphabetically. Clicking any of the poster redirects you to a unique URL that provides additional data, from budget/revenue numbers, if available, to a numerical rating.

Under-A-Tack
Under-A-Tack
Tools Used
Under-A-Tack is a commerce website for art lovers looking for posters that fill their need for unique and specific tastes. If an art piece is clicked, the user is taken to and expanded detail which will show the piece's title, artist, poster genre, and price. The user can also add the poster to a favorites page by clicking the heart icon present on each image. Upon clicking of the "Add to Cart", the specific poster will be added to their cart for purchase. The cart page will calculate the total based on the quantity of posters and includes shipping and tax.
This project was an opportunity taken to learn and implement Express.js and PostgreSQL to create an API that held the data my group used to create the UI.

Tools Used
Brewed to Serve is an API built with NodeJs and Express.js to host a variety of coffee and tea data.
The application was a side project built as an opportunity for me to practice my abilities in Backend Development.
