About me

I've spent my life tinkering, making, and learning; so it's no surprise I found my way into software development. I have a passion for learning and helping others. Having worked in the non-profit sector serving marginalized communities, I understand the importance of helping whenever and however one can. As a Software Developer I hope to contribute to positive outcomes through the power of technology.

Sweater Weather is a backend API-based application for a hypothetical frontend application that is meant to help plan roadtrips. The app allows users to see current weather as well as forecasted weather for the final destination. Sweater Weather API aggregates data from three separate external APIs to expose data required by the frontend. Additionally, this API exposes endpoints for CRUD functionality. Wireframes were used to determine what data was to be exposed.
