After Juilliard Pre-College, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a 5 year stint in a professional string quartet, I realized that I want to make learning hard things and using them to help people a larger part of my life. The pandemic brought me the silver lining opportunity to take the time to attend Turing, where I went through the Back-End Development program. I'm look forward to keeping up with my music by occasionally spending my evenings subbing in the Broadway show "Come From Away," while spending my days contributing to the world through code.
My long term technical goals include becoming a full stack dev, and eventually learning technical project management.
I'm a backend developer with a healthy interest in the frontend. Learning new tech excites me, and I love to find creative solutions to any problem thrown my way. I'm hoping to work with socially responsible, intentionally cultured companies.

Drink This provides cocktail recommendations using a memory-based approach to collaborative filtering. In the front end of this app, we use React in concert with TailwindCSS to provide a clean feel. Movement between pages is smooth and seamless, as opposed to rendering views that may take time to load. Another look and feel to this is the frontend interaction with the backend. We displayed simple thumbnails of the cocktails consumed from the CocktailDB API from the backend.
Viewing party is an application in which users can explore movie options and create a viewing party event for the user and their friends.
