About me

From fine-dining event management to tech operations to front-end software engineer, I am most passionate when solving a problem or providing amazing experiences for others. Throughout my career, I have been driven toward opportunities that challenge me to grow on both fronts. I have gained most of my work experience in almost every facet of the restaurant industry - where each and every day presents new, ever-changing pieces to put together to create a nightly, unforgettable dinner service. After exiting the restaurant industry and transitioning to an operations role in tech, I knew I wanted to find a career within the tech space that would foster my customer-focused, “make it work” attitude as well as provide an opportunity for continuous learning. My decision to come to Turing was spurred from this desire, and here I have met challenges with the same driven enthusiasm I always have. Software development is a way to creatively solve complex problems, work collaboratively and resourcefully, and build cool technology that customers want to use.

In my next role, I am looking to be a part of a collaborative team where my work can help improve lives (or even just the days!) of others. If I sound like a good fit for your company, please reach out to me directly at maeduphorne@gmail.com
